Brazil nut milk is a great alternative. Besides, it is entirely lactose-free and vegan, making it the ideal food for anyone with a dairy intolerance. Let’s get right to its recipe.

Brazil Nut Milk

Ingredients Brazil Nut Milk

  • 4 cups (800ml or 280z) of filter water
  •  1 teaspoon of vanilla essence or scraped vanilla bean
  •  2 Medjool dates
  • ¼  teaspoons of Himalayan pink salt 
  • 1 cup (130g)  of Brazil nuts

Method Brazil Nut Milk

  1. Brazil nuts should be soaked in water for at least one hour or, if you want, overnight.
  2. In a high-speed blender, combine all the ingredients (Apart from the pink salt and vanilla) and blend for a minute or until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Start pouring the nut milk into the cheesecloth-covered top of a big jug that has been prepared.
  4. Squeeze the pulp pressed into the cheesecloth to remove any extra milk particles.
  5.  To reduce waste, feel free to add the pulp to your smoothies.
  6. After removing the cheesecloth, combine the vanilla and pink salt.
