Important Weather Tip

Check the weather in your area for the next several days before shipping your gourmet nuts and goodies. If the weather is warm, we highly recommend you choose our heat resistant packaging to protect your products.

We are unable to cover melted goods so we recommend you consider adding ice packs when the weather is hot. Please have someone available at your delivery location (or deliver to an office) so your package does not sit outside in the heat.

We ship anywhere in the Contiguous United States. We need approximately 48 business hours to pack and ship your order (there will be exceptions when we cannot ship within this time, especially during busy holidays). We strive to ship quickly because we know it will make you happy. Also, as you can see on our website we carry a ton of different products. We try to keep a strategic inventory so that our nuts, dried fruits, chocolates and other products remain fresh. Sometimes an item may not be in stock. If this happens we will contact you quickly and then recommend several goodies which make for a great replacements. Our goal is to provide exemplary customer service and make you happy!

Refunds & Returns

L’Orenta Nuts is unable to refund you for melted nuts and goodies. Please ensure the proper method of delivery for the products chosen. Be more careful when shipping chocolate, yogurt-covered or other meltable products.

The customer is responsible for paying for their own shipping costs for returning the item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If the customer receives a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. If you are shipping an item over $100, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don't guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
L'Orenta Nuts does not guarantee the amount of a particular color, flavor, or shape in "assortment" of gourment nuts and goodies. The amount of each is decided at random. Gourmet nuts and goodies are heavy and shipping prices will reflect this fact. L'Orenta Nuts and our competitors agree that when it comes to shipping gourmet nuts and goodies, we know it is heavy.

Events & Last Minute Orders

We cannot guarantee delivery dates but you may specifically let us know in writing that you need product by a certain date. We recommend that you leave plenty of time to prepare for your event in case there is an unforeseen problem with your order. We are unable to ship 1-day express mail to fix a problem so leave yourself plenty of time to prepare. We are sometimes able to ship right away in emergencies and will do our best to help last-minute orders. Let us know and we will work with you to get your order in time for your special event!

Address Corrections

UPS, Fedex, USPS and other 3rd party shipping carriers charge a fee for address correction. Customers who enter the incorrect address(es) for their order will be charged for all address correction fees if L’Orenta Nuts is charged by the shipping carrier. Please be careful and double check that your address is valid at checkout. Invalid addresses given by a custom and sent via the 3rd party carrier are charged to reimburse L’Orenta Nuts for actual postal costs to mail.

Lost, Damaged, or Stolen Goods

L’Orenta Nuts cannot be held responsible for gourmet nuts and goodies that are stolen, damaged, or lost since the goodies leave our warehouse without control by our company. The goodies are now in the delivery service’s hands and all claims must be filed by you (we will help) with the delivery service when the package is marked delivered by delivery service. L’orenta Nuts will assist you with claims for packages which are lost by the delivery company but cannot be held responsible for delivery which is not controlled by L’Orenta Nuts.

During delivery most likely some of your gourmet nuts and goodies will breaking during shipping – this is just the nature of shipping and cannot be controlled by us. We are not responsible for broken or melted goods. When you open goodies that were correctly sent we cannot refund due to the product being exposed. L’Orenta Nuts will not be able to refund you for goodies where you provided us an incorrect mailing address or where the package is returned to us marked address unknown or package unclaimed. Please be sure to send candy where you know you will be able to accept delivery (at your home office or where a household member will be able to accept). Leaving goodies on your doorstep without you at home is not advised.

Maintaining Accurate Information

We try our best to maintain accurate information, images (colors not always exact and depends on your computer monitor, mobile device, etc), product pricing (which often change depending on manufacturer price changes), shipping costs, and descriptions (often will be updated and revised) on our website. While we cannot guarantee accuracy or correctness of information we will always do our best. Sometimes small errors will occur and we may need to cancel your order and will notify you via e-mail or via phone. Any miscommunication between L’Orenta Nuts and you will not result in one day or faster delivery to remedy miscommunication. We reserve the right to cancel any order for any reason.
