Christmas Latte. Let’s get cozy! This is not your Starbucks type of latte, but a more delicate and simple combination of Almonds, Ginger, and Fresh rice Milk simmered with spices like cinnamon sticks, nutmeg, vanilla beans, and more. It’s a perfect drink to stay warm during cold winter days and enjoy the holidays.

Ingredients Christmas Latte

  • 3 cups of ready-made Almond, Tiger Nut, Oat, and Rice Milk
  • 1 cup of raw almonds or tiger nuts, or 150g
  • ¼  can of coconut milk or cream
  • ¾ tsp fresh ginger powder and 1½ tbsp of freshly grated fresh ginger
  • 1-2 pitted Medjool dates
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract 
  • For garnish, use 1.25 grams and ¼ teaspoon each of ground cinnamon and ground nutmeg
  • Cocoa Powder, 1 teaspoon
  • 2 sticks of cinnamon

Procedure Christmas Latte 

1:  Soak the almonds or tiger nuts overnight if you’re making your almond or tiger nut milk. Skip to step 3 if using premade almond or tiger nut milk.

2: Almonds or tiger nuts should be blended with 3 cups (750ml) of water after soaking for the night. The nuts should be thoroughly mixed and incorporated after being blended for 4-5 minutes. Almond or tiger nut milk should be strained into a big bowl using a fine mesh strainer. Throw away the chaff.

3:Using medium heat, bring the fresh ginger, ginger powder,  coconut cream, Medjool dates, ground nutmeg, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and cloves to a slow boil in a big pot with the almond or tiger nut milk.

4: Return the almond ginger latte to the blender once it has boiled for approximately 10 minutes. (Be careful to leave room at the lid of the blender for steam to escape before blending as it would be risky to ignore this.) The almond ginger latte should be thoroughly blended once all the ingredients are added. (It ought to take 2 to 3 minutes).

5: Following the almond ginger latte’s blending, divide it into two mugs, top each with cocoa powder, and add a cinnamon stick as a garnish. Serve instantly.
