Walnut BBQ Chicken

Ingredients Walnut BBQ Chicken

  • A half-cup of grilled and gently crushed walnuts
  • Six hundred grams of chicken breast, cut in half sideways
  • Two apples, finely chopped
  • The juice of half a lemon
  • A quarter cup of mint leaves
  • Two teaspoons of crispy pine nuts
  • A cup of halved cherry tomatoes
  • Two teaspoons of olive oil
  • Two handfuls of watercress
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

Seasonings Walnut BBQ Chicken

  • Curry powder, half a teaspoon
  • One-fourth of a cup of creme fraiche
  • One-fourth of a cup of mayo
  • Juice from half a lemon cut in half
  • One level teaspoon of apricot jam

How to Make Walnut, Barbecue Chicken, Apple, And Watercress Salad

Step 1

Set the grill or bbq to medium heat.

Step 2

Salt and pepper the chicken breasts after rubbing them with oil. 

Step 3

Put the chicken breasts on the grill machine and grill them for 180 to 240 seconds on each side or until done. Bring it out from the grilling machine.

Step 4

Put the lemon juice and chopped apples in a mixing bowl, and add the mint leaves (or any other herbs), tomatoes, and half of the pine nuts and walnuts. Add salt and pepper to taste. 

Step 5

Cut up the chicken and add the seasoning. Fold it through with care. Put watercress on a platter and spread the chicken out carefully. Add the rest of the nuts and freshly ground pepper to the top.

Step 6

Your yummy walnut, barbecue chicken, apple, and watercress salad are ready.
