Ingredients Sticky Toffee Apple Pudding

  • Roughly chopped pecans (50g)
  • Dark brown sugar (140g)
  • Peeled, cored, and sliced Bramley apples (2)
  • Vanilla extract (1 tsp)
  • Beaten egg (1)
  • Milk (200ml)
  • Baking powder (1 tbsp)
  • Golden caster sugar (100g)
  • Self-raising flour (140g)
  • 85g melted butter

Procedure Sticky Toffee Apple Pudding

Lightly grease the ovenproof dish with butter after you allow the oven to heat up to 180C/fan 160C/gas 4. Tip the salt, baking powder, sugar, and flour into a large bowl. Combine the vanilla extract, egg, butter, and milk, then stir them with the dry ingredients to make the batter smooth. 

Ensure the apples are in the dish, rub the batter on the top, and then use a knife to smoothen until the apple is covered. While you continue the topping, put the boiled water over the sugar and stir to attain a smooth mix. 

Next, put all the liquid on the pudding mixture and pour them onto the pecans. Set in the oven for about 40 minutes to bake. The pudding needs to turn golden and rise. Serve the pudding with a big spoon and put enough of the sauce to reach the bottom of the dish.
