  • Oat flour, 1 cup

  • 0.5 cup raisins
  • Apricots, in ½  cup, dry
  • 1 cup of chopped, fine-walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons cacao nibs
  • Water, ⅓ cup

Instructions Fruit and Nut Bars

  • Set your oven’s temperature to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Use parchment paper to line an 8 × 8-inch baking dish.
  • Put the prunes, raisins, and apricots in a food processor or mini-chopper and pulse until finely chopped.
  • A dough ball will form after you combine the flour, oats, chopped fruit mixture, almonds, cacao nibs, and 2/3 cup water in a large bowl.
  • In the prepared pan, press the dough firmly and uniformly. Before putting it in the oven, cut it into squares using a sharp knife.
  • Don’t over bake or the bars will turn out dry and tough. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until thoroughly cooked but still soft.
  • In the refrigerator, leftover bars should be kept in an airtight container. They should last for a week or two.
