Cinnamon raisin oatmeal is a go-to breakfast for almost every vegan. It is also a great way to get loaded with the energy you need for the day. 

Not only does it take less than 10 minutes to prepare, but it also reminds us of oatmeal raisin cookies, an all-time favorite. Below is a quick breakdown of the ingredients and preparation methods! 

Ingredients Cinnamon Raisin Oatmeal

  • ½ cup of oats
  • Sliced pieces of 1 small banana
  • One full tablespoon of raisins 
  • 1 cup of water or non-dairy milk
  • A tablespoon of your preferred nut butter (such as coconut butter, peanut butter, and so on)
  • One full tablespoon of cinnamon and a pinch of salt

Optional ingredients include: 1 teaspoon of maple syrup and one tablespoon of flaxseed

Procedure Cinnamon Raisin Oatmeal

  1. Combine your oats, sliced bananas, salt, flaxseed, cinnamon, raisins, and lastly, water or non-dairy milk in a pot
  2. Mix thoroughly until every ingredient blends appropriately. 
  3. Over medium heat, cook your mixture for about 8 to 10 minutes or till the banana melts, and you have a thicker consistency.
  4. At the same time, you can quickly prepare a topping of sliced bananas, raisins, cinnamon, and coconut butter to taste. 
  5. Pour into a bowl and serve with the topping.
