Pasta is one way to impress your family with a tasty dinner meal is to make this easy and healthy meal. Keep reading to learn how to make this flavorful meal with pecans!
Ingredients Pasta
- Grated parmesan (25g)
- Chopped flat-leaf parsley (Small pack)
- Chopped pecans (75g)
- Cream cheese (50g)
- Pasta (400g)
- Chicken breasts (2)
- Chopped, peeled, and squashed butternut (½ small chunk)
- Chicken stock (1 liter)
Method Pasta
Bring out your pan, place the chicken stock inside, and then allow to simmer. Next, put the chicken and squash, then cover it. Allow boiling for about 15 minutes with bubbles or until the squash and chicken are well cooked.
Once the chicken cooks well, take it out of the pan and keep it in one corner. However, you need to allow the squash to continue boiling until the squash becomes tender. Once it has reached this point, use a slotted spoon to remove the squash while the stock remains in the pan.
While boiling the stock, pour the pasta and ensure the stock covers the whole pasta. Allow it to cook while you regularly stir the pasta. Before you put out the fire, ensure the pasta has absorbed a lot of the stock and is tender. If it is not delicate and the water has mostly been absorbed, add a little to allow it to cook well, and afterward, shred the chicken.
Put the squash back in the pan and put the parmesan, parsley, pecans, and cream cheese. Allow simmering for 1-2 minutes before you put the chicken. Next, season and add some more parmesan if you wish before serving.

What is the difference between fresh and dried pasta?
Fresh pasta, made from a simple dough of eggs and flour, is tender and cooks quickly, ideal for delicate sauces. Dried pasta, made from durum wheat and water, has a firmer texture and is best suited for robust sauces. Fresh pasta is traditionally used in dishes like ravioli and tagliatelle, while dried pasta is common in dishes like spaghetti bolognese and penne arrabbiata.
How many types of pasta are there?
There are over 600 different shapes of pasta known worldwide. These range from simple forms like spaghetti and penne to more complex shapes like farfalle (bow tie) and rotini (spirals). Each shape is designed to hold sauces in a unique way, enhancing the flavor of pasta dishes.
