Ingredients Cinnamon Cashew

  • 85g cashews 
  • Plain flour (1 tbsp)
  • Sunflower seeds (50g)
  • Sesame seeds (85g)
  • Desiccated coconut (85g)
  • Porridge oats (140g)
  • Ground cinnamon (1 tbsp)
  • Set honey (2 tbsp)
  • Light brown soft sugar (140g)
  • Butter (140g)

Directions Cinnamon Cashew

Grease and line a cake tin that is 20 x 30cm and baking parchment after you allow the oven to heat up to 160C/140C. Let the butter melt in a large pan that is not sticky. Afterward, put cinnamon, honey, and sugar and use a wooden spoon to stir as it heats up for about 5 to 10 minutes. Ensure the heat is low and that the sugar dissolves completely.

Take the pan off the heat and continue stirring. At the same time, you add the remaining ingredients until there is a proper coating in the buttery spice mixture. Next, proceed to tin tipping and ensure to press it down until the layer is even. Allow baking for about 30 to 35 minutes until it turns golden. 

Let it cool for 5 minutes, then mark into squares. Do not take them out of the tin because until they are cold, they will not hold together. Let the container remain sealed for a few days.
