Ingredients Cashew Pound Cake

  • Butter (1 ½ cup)
  • Sugar (2 cups of 400g)
  • Eggs (3)
  • Vanilla essence (1 teaspoon)
  • All-purpose flour (2 cups)
  • Baking powder (1 tablespoon)
  • Salt (½ teaspoon)
  • Cashew nuts (1 cup)

Method Cashew Pound Cake

Blend the sugar and butter to a creamy state using an electric beater or a blender. Put the eggs in the mixture one at a time and beat. Then, put the vanilla essence in the mixture and beat further to a smooth and creamy state.

Sieve the salt, baking powder, and all-purpose flour about three times. Fold the wet and dry ingredients together slowly, then pour in the cashew nuts. Next, ensure the batter is folded once more and avoid overmixing. 

Heat the oven simultaneously. Allow baking until an inserted toothpick comes out clean, usually taking about 30 minutes. 

Bring it out of the oven and allow complete cooling. Cut out your desired slice of the cake and enjoy a lovely evening alone or with family/friends over enjoying every taste of your cashew pound cake.
