Ingredients Brazil Nut Cookies

  • Chopped brazil nuts (240g)
  • Softened unsalted butter (120g)
  • Granulated sugar (120g)
  • 1 egg
  • Vanilla extract (5.69g)
  • All-purpose flour (360g)
  • Baking powder (2.84g)
  • Salt (2.84g)

Instructions Brazil Nut Cookies

Prepare your oven and preheat it to 350°F (175°C). Then use parchment paper to line a baking sheet. Add cream to the sugar and butter to a medium-sized mixing bowl until it turns light and fluffy. 

Pour the vanilla extract and egg into the bowl before mixing properly. Set out a separate bowl and whisk the salt, baking powder, and flour inside. Mix the dry ingredients with the wet mixture until well combined.

Fold the chopped Brazil nuts, ensuring the dough has an even spread. Place the dough on the baking sheet using a small cookie scoop or spoon, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake the cookies for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.

Let the cookies cool off for a few minutes while on the baking sheet. Afterward, put them on a wire rack for complete cooling then serve.
