The milkshake is an excellent choice when you want a healthy breakfast or anytime snack. This is a very easy-to-make breakfast or a pick-me-up milkshake. keep in mind it needs to sit for almost 3 days for the milk to ferment properly.

Apple, Kiwi with Mint Milkshake Ingredients

  • Mint leaves (3)
  • Fructose (1 teaspoon)
  • Chopped, diced, or dried Apple (1)
  • Chopped or dried kiwi (3)
  • Thick kefir milk (250g)

Milkshake Recipe Directions

  • Mix the kefir milk using kefir grains (1 tablespoon) and whole cow’s milk (1000g).
  • Stir and cover using a paper towel, and seal with a rubber band.
  • Keep in a dark spot with a warm temperature of around 70F.
  • Allow 24 hours of fermentation in a warm area, and 48 hours to cool, then filter using a strainer next to get your kefir milk. An alternative is to purchase an already-made kefir milk.
  • Pour the kefir milk into a tall glass.
  • Next, add the mint leaves, fructose, and chopped fruit.
  • You can use the soaked fruits after soaking them. Use a hand blender to mash properly before serving into your glass.
