Apple Smoothie are a great choice to give you a good dose of nutrients. They are highly refreshing and can be used to replace actual meals as they usually contain food items. When served cold, they give an extra satisfactory feeling. Fortunately, making smoothies is pretty simple, especially the almond, ginger, and custard apple smoothie, as we will be checking out the recipe.

Ingredients Apple Smoothie

  • Green cardamom powder (one pinch)
  • Almond flakes (1 tbsp)
  • Honey (1 tbsp)
  • Minced ginger (½ tsp)
  • Fresh custard apple pulp (1 cup)
  • Almond milk (1 cup)

Method Apple Smoothie

Heat your oven while you put the almond flakes on a baking sheet. Take the sheet containing the almond flakes to the oven and roast them for about 4 minutes with the oven at 180° C. The almond flakes must turn golden and have a pleasant aroma before you remove them from the oven. 

Take out your blender jar and place the green cardamom powder, honey, minced ginger, fresh custard apple pulp, and almond milk inside. Blend the combination until it becomes very smooth.

During the summer, they are best enjoyed when served cold, so put them in a refrigerator for about two hours before serving. Alternatively, you can put ice and allow it to dissolve before you begin drinking.

After the smoothie becomes chilled and you want to serve it, you can pour it into a glass cup and put toasted almonds slivers for extra deliciousness.
