Lions, tigers, and bears–oh my! What is better than an animal-themed treat? Nothing, if you ask us! There is just something about creating a little parade from a gummy animal menagerie. Gummy treats are no longer limited to just bears and worms, either! In our vast collection of animal-shaped treats, you can find turtles, frogs, whales, and even unicorns! While you’re planning your next candy shopping spree, why not try a few? Without further adieu, here are 10 Candies Shaped Like Animals | L’Orenta Nuts.

Get Whimsical with Penguins and Unicorns

So you’re hosting a black-tie affair and aren’t sure how to keep

things fun but classy? Have you considered throwing a few animal-themed treats into the game? We know, there’s nothing “grown-up” about gummy bears and fish tails. But, there is definitely a time and place for a few animal accents!

If you are hosting a true black-tie event and want to keep the theme monochrome, our penguin gummy candies are the way to go! These little penguins are bursting with peach flavor and are a great addition to alcoholic beverages. Take your favorite moscato, add some edible black or white glitter, and top with a few penguins on a skewer.

Or, try freezing the gummy penguins into fruit juice ice cubes before your event. Toss the ice cubes into a red wine (or soda!) and your guests will be talking about it for ages.

If your event allows for a little more color, then invest in our

gummy unicorns instead. While these gummies may look a little non-traditional, their multiple uses make up for it! Our gummy unicorns are strawberry, lemon, raspberry, and grape flavor. You can pick out the colors that match your event, or throw them all in for a rainbow delicacy.

We suggest using these unicorns as table decorations or stringing them onto fishing lines to create edible curtains. They also make excellent cupcake toppers!

Take a Tropical Vacation with Gummy Frogs

With summer on your mind, we bet that you have a number of backyard barbecues and pool parties planned! We love hanging out by the pool as much as we love a good theme for our soirees, of course. When we think of hot weather and sunny skies, we think of the tropics. And no tropical theme is complete without some fluorescent tree frogs!

If you find yourself throwing a children’s birthday party, you may want to “leap” right into a theme. Try decorating your outdoor area with green streamers, giant lily pads (just cut up round plastic table covers!), and, of course, frogs!

For a fun twist on traditional punch, mix your favorite green or blue punch recipe. Then, slice limes to create lily pads. Carefully float them on top of the punch, and then top them with our green gummy frogs. These frogs are sure to please, so make sure you have a few extra frogs and lime slices to top individual drinks!

You have your festive summer beverage settled, so what’s next? It’s hot out, so we suggest refreshing snacks over heavy cake ones. We love the idea of a layered jello dessert! Start by mixing blue jello and refrigerator it in the bottom of a mold. Only fill up a third of it! Once it is set, carefully pour a layer of light blue or clear jello to the ⅔ mark.

Before it completely sets, add in a few of our tropical gummy frogs. Let it chill, then complete the mold with a layer of light green jello. Once it sets, you have yourself a pond full of frogs! Not only will it be refreshing, but the jelly filling in our tropical frogs are an extra special treat!

Dive into an Event with Candy Whales and Turtles

What better way to throw a fundraising event than by focusing on the environment? With love for the environment higher than ever, many are looking for a cause to which to donate. When planning your next fundraiser, consider incorporating everyone’s favorite oceanic friends into your theme!

For a gorgeous drink idea, create a glittering blue punch that is

served in shallow glasses. Right before serving, top the drink with a bunch of white cotton candy to act as an iceberg. Add one of our jelly-filled gummy whales and you have a scrumptious berry-flavored treat. Our gummy whales also make delicious additions to grab bags and cupcakes. The possibilities are truly endless!

If your theme caters to those who like warmer locations, you can create a statement dessert with just a few wholesome ingredients. To begin, blend together cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and a few drops of blue food coloring. This will serve as your ocean. On a large dish or sheet pan, spread crumbled graham crackers on roughly a fourth of the sheet to act as the shore. Then, cover the remaining open space with the cream cheese blend. Top with our cream-flavored gummy turtles and your masterpiece is complete!

Roll Out a Gummy Buffet with Fish and Lobsters

If you are a fan of New England, you’ve probably been to your share of coast-side soirees. After all, there is very little better than fresh, high-quality seafood! As you’re planning your next backyard party or company event, why not add some deliciously sweet fish and lobsters into the mix? Not only will it keep your desserts on theme, but it will add a memorable touch that your guests will be talking about for months to come.

Here are some more candy shaped like animals

Our strawberry swirled gummy fish are a gorgeous addition to any spread, but we especially like them for candy sushi. To create this delicious confection, grab your favorite fruit leather and marshmallow rice treats. Lay out a layer of the fruit leather and then top with an inch thick layer of marshmallow rice treats. Lay a layer of our strawberry swirled gummy fish out on the marshmallow treats, roll tight, slice, and serve!

We’ll admit that our gummy red lobsters are so tasty that they deserve their own bowl on the desert table. However, if you want to add a little more sass to these gummy lobsters, pick up a box of round shortbread cookies. Cover a plate in blue sanding sugar and arrange the shortbread cookies within it to create individual islands. Then, top with our super fruity lobsters! Not only is it cute, but it’s delicious too!

Now that you’ve seen 10 Candies Shaped Like Animals, it’s time for us to mention that there are many other animals to choose from!
